Peter Sandvang (born June 24, 1968 in Hillerød ) is a former triathlete from Denmark .

Career

In 1997 he became European champion on the long-distance triathlon.

He was triathlon world champion on the ITU long distance for three years in a row (1999, 2000 and 2001) and was able to achieve two Ironman victories during his time as a triathlon professional (1998, 2002).

Sandvang ended his active career in 2003 and lives in his native Hillerød.
