Quickborn books

The Quickborn books are one of the Quickborn language society founded in 1904 . Association for Low German Language and Literature eV in Hamburg published series of Low German books , the aim of which is to promote and maintain the Low German language. The series has been published since 1913 until more recently, roughly annually in one volume. Most of the volumes in the series were published by the Quickborn publishing house in Hamburg, the former owner and manager of which was the Hamburg businessman and writer Paul Wriede (1870-1926). To date, a total of over a hundred volumes have been published.
