The Rifugio Angelo Alimonta or just Rifugio Alimonta (German Alimontahütte ) is a privately run refuge in the Brenta Group in Trentino . The hut, which is usually open from mid-June to mid-September, has 93 beds and a winter room with 6 beds.

The Vedretta degli Sfulmini

The hut, built in 1968 by mountain guides Ezio and Gilio Alimonta, is located on a small rocky plateau, the so-called Vedretta dei Sfùlmini or dei Armi , on the west side of the central Brenta group in the municipality of Tre Ville . At 2580  m slm altitude, it is the highest refuge in the Brenta and is located at the starting and ending point of several well-known via ferratas , such as the Bocchette Alte and Bocchette Centrali. The rifugio is also used as a base camp for many climbs, such as the Campanile Basso or the Torre di Brenta . It was renovated in 2004.
