Santa Giustina is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6,727 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Belluno in Veneto . The municipality is located about 15 kilometers southwest of Belluno on the Piave . Santa Giustina is part of the Parco nazionale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi .

history

The origin of the community lies in the Longobard period from 568 to 774. The first church building dates from the subsequent period of the Franks. From 1404 the municipality was part of the Republic of Venice .
