Sedico is a northeastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 10,204 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Belluno in Veneto . The main town of the municipality is located about 9 kilometers west-southwest of the center of Belluno in the triangle where the Cordevole meets the Piave . The landscape is dominated by Monte Schiara (2,565 meters). A large part of the municipal area belongs to the Parco Nazionale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi . At the same time, the community belongs to the Comunità Montana Val Belluna .

The former Strada Statale 50 del Grappa e del Passo Rolle from Trento to Belluno , which is now a regional road, runs through the municipality . In the district of Bribano there is a train station on the Treviso - Feltre -Belluno line. The former railway line from Sedico-Bribano to Agordo has been closed since 1955.
