Gosaldo (in the Ladin language : Gosàlt ) is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 562 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Belluno in Veneto . The municipality is located about 22 kilometers west-northwest of Belluno , belongs to the Comunità montana Agordina and borders directly on the Trentino . The administrative headquarters are in the Don district . Parts of the municipality coincide with the Belluno Dolomites National Park .

In 1148 the community is mentioned as Agosaltum (after the Lombard name Gaulald ).

The former Strada Statale 347 del Passo Cereda e del Passo Duran (now a provincial road) leads through the municipality from Fiera di Primiero to Valle di Cadore .
