Selva di Cadore ( Ladin Selva de Ciadore or just Sélva ) is a municipality with 493 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Belluno , Veneto region , about six kilometers southwest of Cortina d'Ampezzo . Fractions are Santa Fosca and Pescul. The village lies at the southern end of the Valle Codalonga that over the Passo di Giau with the Valle del Boite is connected to what is Cortina.

Neighboring communities are Alleghe , Borca di Cadore , Colle Santa Lucia , San Vito di Cadore and Val di Zolto . Selva di Cadore is one of the main resorts in the Civetta ski area .
