The transmitter Jena is a transmitter of the German radio tower on the northern slope of the Hummelsberg , part of the mountain range of the Kernberge southeast of the city center of Jena .

The city of Jena is supplied with radio and television signals from here. The previous 37 meter high lattice mast was dismantled as part of the conversion to DVB-T and replaced by a new 60 meter high free-standing steel lattice tower, which went into operation in 2008.
