The seal of the US state of Arkansas was introduced in 1864 and adapted to its current form in 1907 .

The outer ring contains the English text " Great Seal of the State of Arkansas " ( Great Seal of the State of Arkansas ).
The inner seal contains the angel of mercy (left), the sword of justice (right - with the inscription "Justice") and the goddess of freedom (above).
In the center, behind a shield, is a bald eagle . In its claws the eagle carries an olive branch and three arrows. In its beak the animal holds a blue banner with the Latin motto:
- “ Regnat Populus. "
- ( May the people rule! )
The shield itself is divided into three parts:
- In the upper part you can see a steam boat.
- In the middle you can see a plow and a beehive .
- In the lower part you can see a sheaf of wheat.
These symbols represent the agricultural wealth of the state.
