The Slovenský futbalový zväz (SFZ) is the Slovak football association . It is based in Bratislava and, with around 430,000 members, is the country's largest organization.

The SFZ is responsible for the organization of football in Slovakia and is therefore responsible, among other things, for the Slovak national football team . He is also the host of the highest leagues Corgoň liga , 1st league, 2nd league and the 1st women's league as well as the Slovak Cup .

The association was founded on November 4, 1938 and became a member of FIFA in 1939. After 1945, the SFZ was again part of the Czechoslovak Football Association. After the division of Czechoslovakia and the independence of Slovakia, the association became a member of FIFA in 1993 and a year later a member of UEFA .
