Pedersen started playing soccer when he was seven. At the age of 15 she moved to IK Skovbakken in her hometown. She won the trophy with the team in 2009 . In the championship, Fortuna Hjørring and Brøndby IF were the dominant teams, so that it was mostly only enough to third places. In 2012 she moved to Fortuna Hjørring and won the Danish championship there in 2014 . In 2015 she moved to Damallsvenskan for FC Rosengård . There she made three appearances in her first season, but could not play a game in 2016 due to a concussion. In the current 2017 season, she made three league games. On June 26, 2017, she was officially adopted before the game against LB07 .

In the 2017/18 season she played in Spain for UD Levante in the Primera División . Then she went back to Sweden, where she played the second half of the Swedish season for Vittsjö GIK . At the beginning of 2019, it went south again, this time to Italy to Juventus Turin , where she helped win the championship and the cup in the second half of the season.

At the European level, she qualified directly with Fortuna in 2012 for the round of 32 of the 2012/13 UEFA Women's Champions League . Here they met the Scottish record champions Glasgow City LFC . After a 2-1 win in Glasgow, a goalless draw at home was enough to reach the round of 16. There they met the Swedish cup winner Kopparbergs / Göteborg FC . After a 1-1 home game they lost 3-2 in Sweden, scoring the last goal and thus their first CL goal.

The 2013/14 season also ended in the round of 16 for Fortuna. And again it was a Swedish team, this time Tyresö FF who lost 1: 2 and 0: 4.

The Swedish round of 16 curse continued the following season , this time they lost 2-1 and 2-0 to FC Rosengård , where u. a. the German national player Anja Mittag and the former Brazilian world footballer Marta played and each scored a goal against the Danes. After all, Pedersen was able to compensate for the 1: 2 away defeat in the meantime. This made such an impression on the Swedes that they signed Pedersen in 2015 to replace Anja Mittag, who moved to Paris Saint-Germain .

For Rosengård she then made four appearances in the sixteenth and sixteenth finals in the 2015/16 season . Your team was then eliminated in the quarterfinals, in which they were not used. Her next appearance was in the last 16 of the 2016/17 UEFA Women's Champions League , when she came on in the 77th minute of the second leg against Slavia Prague . In the quarter-final first leg, which was lost 1-0 to FC Barcelona , she was then in the starting line-up, but was replaced after 66 minutes. In the second leg, which was lost 2-0, she was substituted on after 78 minutes for Anita Asante , who had been substituted for Pedersen in the first leg.

With Juve, she failed in the UEFA Women's Champions League 2019/20 in the round of 32 with two defeats at FC Barcelona.

National teams

On July 2, 2007, she had her first appearance in the Danish U-17 team at the Nordic Cup 2007, in which they finished seventh. In the game for place 7, her third international match, she also scored her first international goal. This was followed by three appearances in August in the Danish U-16 team at a tournament in Germany. In October 2007 and March 2008, she then took part with the U-17 team in the two qualifying rounds for the U-17 European Championship 2008 , which the Danes successfully completed. But it was not used in the finals. By participating in the finals, the Danes were already qualified for the U-17 Women's World Cup in New Zealand in 2008 . There she was used in the four games that brought Denmark first group victory in the preliminary round, but then the knockout round against North Korea. The game on November 8, 2008 against North Korea was their last game for the U-17 team.

From March 2009 she played for the U-19 team, first at a tournament in La Manga , Spain and then unsuccessfully in qualifying for the 2009 European Women's U-19 Football Championship . She could not qualify with the team for the U-19 European Championship in 2010 and 2011 . With a 3-0 win against the French on March 31, 2011 in qualifying for the U-19 European Championship 2011, in which she scored the second goal, her time as a junior national player ended with 19 and 25 official games for the U. -17 or U-19 teams. The victory made them runner-up in front of the French, but missed the finals as fourth-best runner-up in the group. On September 15, 2011 she played her only game or half time for the U-23 team, which was lost 6-0 to Norway.

On December 8, 2011, she had her first appearance in the senior national team when she came on as a substitute for Nanna Christiansen in the 76th minute at the four-nation tournament in Brazil against Chile and eleven minutes later the interim Scored 3-0 with their first international goal. In the final group game against hosts Brazil , she was then in the starting line-up, but was replaced in the 65th minute. 13 minutes later, Sanne Troelsgaard Nielsen scored the only goal of the game, which was the first time the Danes beat Brazil. In the final against Brazil, in which they were not used, they then lost 2-1. After that, she had to wait ten months for her next international match: On September 19, 2012, she came on as a 2-0 in the last qualifying match for the 2013 European Championship against Portugal two minutes before the end of the game. The Danes pushed the Austrians , against whom they had lost for the first time four days earlier, from the top of the table and qualified for the European Championship finals.

This was followed by renewed participation in the four-nation tournament in Brazil in 2012 , in which the Danes again took second place, and in spring 2013 the first participation in the Algarve Cup . At the European Championship finals , she played the first half in the opening game against Sweden and in the second group game against Italy . In the knockout round, in which they advanced to the semi-finals and only failed on penalties to Norway , they were not used.

In the unsuccessful qualification for the 2015 World Cup , in which they were group favorites due to their performance at the European Championships, but ultimately behind Switzerland , which was able to qualify for the first time, and Iceland only finished third, she came to nine appearances. This was followed by three appearances in the successful qualification for the EM 2017 . In 2016 she went without a game due to the concussion, but was nominated for the Algarve Cup in February 2017. There it was not used, but in June it was nominated for the 2017 European Championship finals and was used in two preparation games. At the finals she was substituted for the first time in the semi-finals against Austria. When it was 0-0 after 120 minutes, there was a penalty shoot-out. After two of her teammates were able to convert their penalty, she stepped up, but could not convert her penalty. But since the following teammate did better and shot three Austrians, the Danes were in the final of a major official soccer tournament for the first time. Here they met the hosts and Pedersen was one of the starting XI. But she was replaced in the 82nd minute when the score was 2: 3. Seven minutes later the Dutch were able to add another goal and the Danes were second.

In qualifying for the 2019 World Cup , she had two 90-minute appearances in the first two qualifying games. It was then used in a friendly match against world champions USA and two games in the 2018 Algarve Cup at the beginning of 2018 , but then again in the playoff games against the Netherlands, both of which were lost and the World Cup was missed.
