The Strada Statale 66 (SS66) is an Italian State Street, 1928 between Florence and SS12 at San Marcello Pistoiese has been set. It goes back to a section of the Strada nazionale 55 established in 1923. Because of its leadership in the area around Pistoia , the SS66 received the title of Pistoiese by name .

Their length was 68 kilometers. In 2001 it was downgraded and is now a regional road. On its way between Florence and Pistoia, it goes around the provincial capital Prato to the south, which was not connected via the basic network of state roads established in 1928 .
