The Sydney Motorsport Park, formerly Eastern Creek Raceway is a 3.93 km long race track with eleven curves in Eastern Creek , a suburb of Sydney , Australia , by the Australian Racing Drivers Club is operated. The track is the only permanent Australian distance from the FIA with the degree 2 is classified.
From 1991 to 1996 the course hosted the Australian Grand Prix for Motorcycles from Phillip Island . Until 2005, the season's final races of the V8 supercar series took place in Eastern Creek, and the A1 Grand Prix has been here ever since .
In the 1990s, large open-air concerts with bands such as Pearl Jam and Guns n 'Roses took place on the area of the racetrack, in 2009 and 2010 the Soundwave Festival was held on the premises.
