Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi "Tammy" Bakumo-Abraham (born October 2, 1997 in London ) is an English football player who is under contract with Chelsea .
Career
In the club
Abraham moved to the youth department of Chelsea in 2004 and from then on went through all youth teams. He won the UEFA Youth League with the U19s in the 2014/15 (7 games / 4 goals) and 2015/16 (9/8) seasons . In the second half of the 2014/15 season, Abraham made 11 appearances in the U21, in which he scored 4 goals. In the 2015/16 season he was a permanent member of the U21 squad, for which he scored 9 goals in 18 games. In May 2016 Abraham made his debut under head coach Guus Hiddink in a 1-1 draw against Liverpool FC as a substitute in the Premier League . Another assignment followed on the last day of the match.
In August 2016, Abraham moved to second division Bristol City on loan until the end of the 2016/17 season . There he established himself as a regular player and was used in 41 league games (40 times from the start) and scored 23 goals, making him second-best goalscorer behind Chris Wood (27) from Leeds United .
For the 2017/18 season, Abraham extended his contract until June 30, 2022 and switched to league rivals Swansea City for a year on loan . In Swansea he could not assert himself as a regular player and scored 5 goals in 31 league games (15 times from the start).
In preparation for the summer of 2018, Abraham first returned to Chelsea and was part of the U23 team at the end of August. On August 31, he moved to second division Aston Villa for a year on loan until the end of the 2018/19 season . There he established himself again as a regular player. In 37 league games, in which he was always in the starting eleven, he scored 25 goals, making him second-best goalscorer behind Teemu Pukki (29) from Norwich City . With his team, he finished 5th, which entitled to the play-offs for promotion. In 3 games (all from the start) he scored a goal in the semi-final first leg against West Bromwich Albion . In the final Aston Villa was able to make clear the promotion against Derby County .
For the 2019/20 season , Abraham returned to Chelsea, which was not allowed to sign any new players due to a transfer ban.
In the national team
On November 10, 2017, he made his debut in a friendly against Germany in the English senior team .
