Tessa Mittelstaedt (* 1. April 1974 in Ulm ) is a German actress . She gained fame through her role as Franziska Lüttgenjohann in the crime scene Cologne alongside Klaus J. Behrendt and Dietmar Bär .

Live and act

After her training at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum , she studied Method Acting with John Costopoulos as well as in the MK Lewis Masterclass.

Mittelstaedt took on various engagements at the theater. From 1997 to 1999 at the Schauspielhaus Bochum , from 1999 to 2001 at the Schauspieltheater NRW Wuppertal and from 2001 to 2006 at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden . In the 2009/2010 season Tessa Mittelstaedt was seen at the Schauspielhaus Bochum as Karen in Eine Familie (August: Osage County) .

From 2000 to 2014 she played the role of Franziska in the crime scene Cologne . Mittelstaedt played other roles from 2003 as Cynthia in the ZDF television series Der Fürst und das Mädchen , from 2005 as Jana Holsten in the ZDF television series Five Stars and from November 2007 as Lilo Behringer in the 6-part ARD television series Elvis and the Commissioner . In addition, she had various guest appearances, including in the television series Alarm for Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei , SOKO Wismar and Die Forensic Medicine . From 2009 to 2010 she starred in the ZDF television series Der Bergdoktor for twenty episodes as the lawyer Dr. Andrea Junginger. Since 2012 she has played one of the leading roles as public prosecutor Elke Rasmussen in the ARD early evening series Heiter bis tödlich: Murden im Norden . In November 2012 Mittelstaedt announced the withdrawal from the crime scene series. After almost 13 years and 43 episodes, she said goodbye to the Sunday TV series with the broadcast of the episode Franziska on January 5, 2014. Due to the particular brutality, this crime scene was not allowed to be broadcast until after 10:00 p.m.

Tessa Mittelstaedt lives in Berlin, she has a son and a daughter. She has been in a relationship with the actor Matthias Komm since 2010 .
