The Digital Swiss 5 was an e-cycling event held from April 22nd to 26th, 2020 .

The Digital Swiss 5 was organized by the UCI WorldTour - stage race Tour de Suisse and Velon , an association of cycling teams . The event was related to the cancellation of the Tour de Suisse 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic .

Three cyclists from the UCI WorldTeams each started, with the exception of the Astana Pro Team , Cofidis and UAE Team Emirates , plus the UCI ProTeams Rally Cycling and Total Direct Energy and a national Swiss Cycling team . The teams could change drivers from day to day, so it was not an E-stage race, but a series of E- one-day races . Therefore there was no individual overall rating.

In contrast to road cycling and other online platforms, the online training platform Rouvy where the competitions took place, no wind shadow effect , so that it has in effect been e ITT is.

Rohan Dennis and Stefan Küng each won two sections; Nicolas Roche won one.
