UCI ProSeries 2020
The UCI ProSeries 2020 is the first edition of the European road cycling calendar introduced by the World Cycling Association UCI for the 2020 season under the UCI WorldTour .
The 2020 series is set to begin on January 26th with the Vuelta a San Juan Internacional and end on October 18th with the Japan Cup .
In addition to UCI ProTeams , the highest category of UCI-registered cycling teams , the UCI WorldTeams, can take part in the individual races . UCI Continental teams and national teams can also be invited.
Due to the worldwide containment measures regarding the COVID-19 pandemic , numerous races had to be canceled, some could be postponed to later dates in the annual calendar.

Teams
On December 12, 2019, the UCI published a list of 18 teams that were licensed as UCI ProTeam. Wallonie-Bruxelles was the 19th and last team to receive a ProTeam license.
