Val de Chaise is a commune in the French department of Haute-Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the canton of Faverges in the Arrondissement of Annecy . The residents call themselves Valchaisans. It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 through the merger of the previous communities of Cons-Sainte-Colombe and Marlens .
