Veľký Grob (until 1948 in Slovak "Nemecký Grob" - until 1927 also "Uherský Grob" or "Maďarský Grob"; German German Eisgrub , Hungarian Magyargurab - until 1907 Németgurab ) is a municipality in western Slovakia .

The place was first mentioned in 1275 as Gwrb .
There are two churches in the village: the catholic chapel from 1771 and the evangelical one from 1936.
