Walter Brugna

Walter Brugna (born January 28, 1965 in Rivolta d'Adda ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Walter Brugna was a professional from 1987 to 1991. His greatest success was winning the 1990 UCI track world championships in the professional standing race in Maebashi, Japan . As early as 1988, at the World Championships in Gent , he was third and in 1989 in Lyon he was runner-up .

Brugna also raced on the road . In 1987 he won three stages of the Herald Sun Tour in Australia and in 1991 three stages of the Tour of Argentina .

Walter Brugna's son Alessio (* 1995) is also active as a racing cyclist.
