Bruno Vicino (born September 7, 1952 in Villorba ) is a former Italian cyclist , three-time world champion and later sports director.

In 1973 Bruno Vicino became Italian amateur road champion, succeeding Francesco Moser . The following year he turned professional. Between 1974 and 1980 he took part in the Giro d'Italia seven times and once in the Tour de France in 1975 , but without any outstanding success.

In the mid-1970s, Vicino specialized in standing races . In this discipline he was three times world champion (1983, 1985 and 1986) and six times Italian champion

In 1987 Bruno Vicino retired from active cycling. From 1993 to 2004 he was the sporting director of the Mercatone Uno-Saeco cycling team , and has been with Lampre-Farnese Vini since 2005 .
