Antonio Domenicali
Antonio "Tonino" Domenicali (born February 17, 1936 in Serravalle , † July 4, 2002 in Segrate ) was an Italian cyclist and Olympic champion.
Life
At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 Antonio Domenicali won the gold medal in the team pursuit , together with Leandro Faggin , Valentino Gasparella and Franco Gandini , in the final with a new world and Olympic record (4: 37.4 min). The following year he turned professional and from then on drove mainly road racing, but without major success. In 1963 he was the Italian champion in the standing race .
