Jean-Michel Monin (born September 7, 1967 in Argenteuil ) is a former French cyclist .

The greatest success in Jean-Michel Monin's cycling career was winning the gold medal in the team pursuit at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta , along with Christophe Capelle , Philippe Ermenault and Francis Moreau . In the same year, the French four-man finished second at the track world championships behind the team from Italy.

Five times Momin was French champion in two-man team driving and three times in team pursuit. He also contested around 40 six-day races, two of which he won in Nouméa , in 1994 with Jean-Claude Colotti and in 1997 with Christian Pierron .

Today Jean-Michel Monin works for the Amaury Sport Organization (ASO), which u. a. organized the Tour de France .
