Loris Campana

Loris Campana (born August 3, 1926 in Marcaria , † on or before September 4, 2015 ) was an Italian track cyclist .

In 1952 Loris Campana started at the Olympic Games in Helsinki and won the gold medal in the team pursuit with the Italian four-man team ( Marino Morettini , Guido Messina , Mino De Rossi ) . At the track world championships in Paris in the same year he was third in the single pursuit of the amateurs . In 1953 he won the title of vice world champion in the pursuit of amateurs at the World Championships in Zurich. In 1955 he was also Italian champion in the single and team pursuit.
