The women's national basketball team of the Central African Republic is the selection of female basketball players from the Central African Republic , which the Fédération Centrafricaine de Basketball represents on an international level, for example in friendly matches against the selection teams of other national associations, but also in international competitions. The greatest success was third place at the 1966 African Championship . In 1963, the national association joined the world association Fédération Internationale de Basketball (FIBA). In June 2014, the team was not included in the world rankings for women .
