history

Ándalus Lineas Aéreas was founded in 2008 by managers of the insolvent Air Madrid . The company has been offering flights between Nador and Casablanca and several destinations in Spain since January 2009 . On April 30, 2009, Andalus added the Madrid - Gibraltar connection to the flight plan, a route which Iberia and GB Airways could not operate economically before. The start of flight operations on the Gibraltar- Barcelona route was planned for June 2009 . Long-term connections to South America , which should be served by Boeing 767 , were also planned. However, flight operations were discontinued on August 13, 2010 due to license withdrawal.
