Aleksandr Petrov (born May 25, 1983 in Püssi , Estonian SSR ) is an Estonian - Italian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Hockey Milano Rossoblu again since 2016 and has played with the club in the Alps Hockey League since 2018 .

Career

Petrov began his career as a hockey player at HK Central Kohtla-Järve , for whom he made his debut in the Meistriliiga at the age of 15 . In 2001 he moved to HK Spartak Saint Petersburg in the Wysschaja Liga , the second highest Russian division. In 2002 he returned to Central Kohtla-Järve for a year. Since 2003, he continually playing abroad: the one year at HK Liepājas Metalurgs in Lithuania and Salamat in Finland followed by six years in Italy, where it 2009 with the HC Valpellice promotion to the Serie A1 succeeded. After a year in France with the Montpellier Agglomération Hockey Club and two years with the Kongsvinger Knights from Norway, where he was top scorer and best preparer of the second-class 1st division in 2014 and also achieved the best plus / minus balance, he returned to Italy, where, after a year at Hockey Milano Rossoblu, he was again on the ice with HC Valpellice in Serie A in the 2015/16 season, with which he won the Coppa Italia .
