history

The administrative area of the mayor's office in Lauthausen was part of the Blankenberg office in the Duchy of Berg until the beginning of the 19th century , which opened in 1806 in connection with the formation of the Rhine Confederation in the Grand Duchy of Berg . In 1808, the French administration under Napoléon Bonaparte formed the Mairie Lauthausen from parts of the Eigen and Geistingen parishes . It consisted of the Honnschaften Altenbödingen , Braschoß , Happerschoß and Lauthausen . The Mairie belonged to Canton Hennef , Arrondissement Mülheim , department Rhein in the Grand Duchy of Berg.

Based on the resolutions at the Congress of Vienna in 1815, the Rhineland was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia . Under the Prussian administration, administrative districts , districts and mayor's offices as well as associated communities were formed in 1816 . The mayor Lauthausen initially belonged to the circle Uckerath in the administrative district of Cologne . This initially belonged to the province of Jülich-Kleve-Berg , which was combined with the province of Grand Duchy of Lower Rhine in 1822 to form the Rhine province . In 1820 the Uckerath district was dissolved and added to the Siegburg district (from 1825 Siegkreis). With the enactment of a municipal code for the Rhine Province in 1845, the municipalities administered by the mayor's office were legally recognized as local authorities with their own head and council .

After the First World War , the mayor's office was occupied by Allied soldiers. These remained until January 29, 1926.

Like all the mayor's offices in the Rhine Province, the Lauthausen mayor's office was renamed "Amt Lauthausen" in 1927. On September 30, 1956, the Lauthausen office was dissolved, the municipalities of Altenbödingen , Happerschoss and Lauthausen , which were part of the office, as well as part of Braschoss were merged to form a new municipality Lauthausen. Braschoss and Kaldauen were assigned to the city of Siegburg . As part of the local reorganization of the Bonn area, the unofficial community Lauthausen was also dissolved on August 1, 1969, and the majority of the localities merged into the new community of Hennef (Sieg), which was formed at the same time.
