Antje Schmidt (* 1967 in Moers , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German film - television - and theater - Actress .

Life

Schmidt received her training at the Zurich Acting Academy . Since her film debut in Xaver Schwarzenberger's adaptation of Eva Heller's best-selling novel The Next Man Everything Will Be Different in 1989, she has had leading roles in numerous cinema and television films. She also has a great reputation as a stage actress. At the Residenztheater Munich, Schmidt played from 1989 to 1993 under the direction of August Everding (in Einsame Menschen ), Arie Zinger ( Totentanz), Martin Fried ( Mein Kampf ), Peter Palitzsch ( Michael Kramer ) and András Fricsay ( Amphitryon , Kabale and Love ). Her other theater stations include the Schauspiel Bonn and the Maxim-Gorki-Theater in Berlin.
