Argelato is an Italian municipality with 9769 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the metropolitan city of Bologna . The municipality includes the localities Argelato , Casadio , Casette di Funo , Funo , Malacappa , Volta Reno , San Donnino and San Giacomo , which are administratively united in the districts of Argelato (the main town), Casadio and Funo. In the village of Funo there is a marshalling yard, important industrial plants (Guaber) and one of the largest trading centers in Europe, which is only inferior to the Cis at Nola .
