BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Awards

The BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Awards are a group of awards from the Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) Foundation . The prizes have been awarded since 2008 and (as of 2019) are endowed with 400,000 euros each .

Awards are given in the following eight categories:

  • Biology and biomedicine (Biology and Biomedicine)
  • Climate change (Climate Change)
  • Ecology and Conservation Biology (Ecology and Conservation Biology)
  • Information and Communication Technologies
