Geographical location

The railway line runs along the Tyrrhenian Sea . From Pisa it led along the Etruscan Riviera through the Maremma , past the Tolfa Mountains into the Tiber Valley . It crosses the regions of Tuscany and Latium . In addition to Rome and Pisa, it connects the provincial capitals Livorno , Grosseto and the important port city of Civitavecchia .
