The Bebra-Verlag (own notation: be.bra publisher or Bebra Verlag ) is a book publisher based in Berlin.

history

Since its founding in 1994 by Ulrich Hopp, the publishing house dedicated focus on the history and contemporary history of the region Be rlin- Bra ends castle. In 2001 the publisher expanded its spectrum with berlin.krimi.verlag to include a section for fiction. Two years later, the Bebra-Wissenschaftsverlag was founded out of the Bebra-Verlag , which has been operating as an independent publisher ever since.

The last expansion of the publishing program took place in 2004, when Bebra-Verlag took over Edition Q , Berlin Edition and Japan Edition from Quintessenz Verlag .

The Bebra-Verlag is based in the Kulturbrauerei in the Berlin district of Prenzlauer Berg and is a member of Regionalbuch AG and the German Book Trade Association .
