Bear Creek is directly adjacent to the cities of Gulfport and Saint Petersburg and is approximately 15 km south of Clearwater and approximately 30 km southwest of Tampa .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 1948 inhabitants at that time were distributed among 1169 households. The population density was 1948 inhabitants / km². 92.9% of the population identified themselves as white, 2.4% as African-American , 0.4% as Native American and 2.2% as Asian Americans . 0.6% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.6% to several ethnic groups. 4.4% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
