Harbor Bluffs is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pinellas County in the US state of Florida with a population of 2,860 (as of 2010).

Harbor Bluffs is directly adjacent to the towns of Belleair Bluffs , Largo and Indian Rocks Beach and is on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway . The CDP is located approximately 3 miles south of Clearwater and approximately 19 miles west of Tampa .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 2860 inhabitants at that time were distributed over 1614 households. The population density was 1588.9 inh / km². 96.4% of the population identified themselves as whites , 0.5% as African-Americans , 0.1% as Indians, and 1.6% as Asian Americans . 0.3% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.2% to several ethnic groups. 3.0% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 there were children under the age of 18 in 26.0% of all households and persons aged 65 or over lived in 39.2% of all households. 70.1% of the households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.35 people and the average family size was 2.80 people.

21.1% of the population were younger than 20 years, 14.0% were 20 to 39 years old, 33.6% were 40 to 59 years old, and 31.5% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 49 years. 48.0% of the population were male and 52.0% were female.

The median annual income was $ 78,454, with 7.5% of the population living below the poverty line.

In 2000, English was the mother tongue of 100% of the population.
