West Lealman is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pinellas County in the US state of Florida with 15,651 inhabitants (as of 2010).

West Lealman is directly adjacent to the cities of Pinnellas Park and Saint Petersburg and is about 10 km south of Clearwater and about 25 km southwest of Tampa . The CDP is affected by Florida State Road 693 .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 15,651 inhabitants were distributed over 9,438 households. The population density was 1932.2 inh / km². 86.2% of the population identified themselves as white , 4.5% as African-American , 0.4% as Native American and 3.9% as Asian Americans . 2.4% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.6% to several ethnic groups. 8.3% of the population were Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 18.9% of all households and persons aged 65 and over lived in 44.6% of all households. 50.2% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring).
