Bernmühle is a district of the town of Neunburg vorm Wald in the Schwandorf district in Bavaria .

geography

Bernmühle is about five kilometers southeast of Neunburg vorm Wald am Rötzerbach. This arises about four kilometers further east at Stettnermühle from the confluence of the Multbach and Hückbach. It flows into the Schwarzach about six kilometers to the northwest in Neunburg vorm Wald .

history

It is believed that the name of the Bernmühle has different origins. On the one hand it can be derived from the name of its owner Bero, on the other hand it can be that the owners of the Bernmühle were obliged to keep a breeding boar (= Watz, Bär, Bän, Bern).

On March 23, 1913, Bernmühle was part of the parish of Neunburg vorm Wald, consisted of one house and had six residents.

On December 31, 1990, Bernmühle had three residents and belonged to the parish of Neunburg vorm Wald.
