Warberg is a district of the town of Neunburg vorm Wald in the Schwandorf district in Bavaria .

geography

Warberg is about four kilometers north of Neunburg vorm Wald on the northwest slope of the 572 meter high Warberg.

history

On March 23, 1913 Warberg (listed as: Oberwarberg) was part of the Schwarzhofen parish , consisted of four houses and had 20 residents.

On December 31, 1990 Warberg had eleven inhabitants and belonged to the parish of Neunburg vorm Wald.

Culture and sights

The Warberg Castle Stables and the Christ on Rest Chapel, built in 1855, are in the vicinity of Warberg .

In Warberg there is a country inn and guesthouse and a large game reserve.
