Haslarn is a district of the town of Neunburg vorm Wald in the Schwandorf district in Bavaria .

Haslarn is located about eight kilometers southeast of Neunburg vorm Wald, south of the Eixendorfer reservoir in the headwaters of the Multbach and Haslarner Bach.

history

The name Haslarn (also Haslach, Hoslach, Hosla) indicates a settlement on the edge of a hazel bush . Haslarn was first mentioned in a document in 1424.

In 1870 Haslarn consisted of 15 houses and had 97 inhabitants.

In 1865 Haslarn was re-parished from Penting to Seebarn .

On March 23, 1913, Haslarn belonged to the Seebarn parish, consisted of 14 houses and had 96 inhabitants.

On December 31, 1990 Haslarn had 66 inhabitants and belonged to the parish of Seebarn.

Culture and sights

About 500 meters southwest of Haslarn is the Burgstall Bürgl , a circular mound of earth overgrown with low bushes. This fortification probably dates from the Middle Ages .
