Nefling is a district of the town of Neunburg vorm Wald in the Schwandorf district in Bavaria .

geography

Nefling is about five kilometers northeast of Neunburg vorm Wald and north of the state road 2151 , which connects Neunburg vorm Wald with the B 22 in Rötz .

history

The name Nefling (formerly Nebolvinge, Nebolfing, Nevalding) indicates a founder named Nebulf or Nebolf. The so-called "ing places" come from an early settlement period in which the Bavarians migrated from the Bohemian basin to the west. During this settlement, the names of the places were formed from the name of the founder with an appended -ing.

Nefling is first mentioned in a document in 1273. In 1419 Ulrich Hiltel had property in Nefling.

On March 23, 1913, Nefling was part of the parish of Neunburg vorm Wald, consisted of five houses and had 35 residents.

On December 31, 1990 Nefling had 27 inhabitants and belonged to the parish of Neunburg vorm Wald.
