The village mill was about three kilometers south of Neunburg vorm Wald, south of State Road 2151, on the banks of the meandering Rötzerbach, which flows into the Schwarzach in Neunburg vorm Wald. The Rötzerbach arises from the confluence of the Multbach and the Hückbach east of the Stettnermühle .

history

The Einöde Dorfmühle initially belonged to Hofmark Katzdorf , then until 1945 to the municipality of Penting . On March 23, 1913, Dorfmühle was part of the parish of Neunburg vorm Wald and had a house and 7 residents. On December 31, 1990, Dorfmühle had two residents and belonged to the parish of Neunburg vorm Wald.

In the summer of 2013, the vacant, historic buildings of the village mill were demolished following a resolution by the city council of Neunburg vorm Wald. The city of Neunburg vorm Wald planned the construction of the new industrial area "Galgenberg West" in a terrace arrangement. However, the plans were discontinued in favor of another location. Currently the area of ​​the village mill looks like a desert .
