Bob Verbeeck

Bob Verbeeck (actually Robert Verbeeck ; born August 5, 1960 in Tessenderlo ) is a former Belgian middle and long distance runner .

At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles he reached the semifinals over 5000 m .

In 1985 he won the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Piraeus over 3000 m .

In 1981 and 1982 he was Belgian champion over 1500 m .

Bob Verbeeck graduated from Iowa State University in 1990 and founded the sports marketing agency Consultants in Sports (CIS). The company, which now bears the name Golazo , is still managed by him today.
