Branislav Vukosavljević
Branislav Vukosavljević (* 1928 in Belgrade , Yugoslavia , † 1985 in Yugoslavia ) was a Yugoslav football player .
Vuko , as Branislav Vukosavljević was called in Switzerland, began his professional career at FK Red Star Belgrade , where he played from 1947 to 1953. In 1949 he played. During this time he scored 28 goals in 71 games. He then moved to the Grasshopper Club Zurich in 1953 , where he stayed until 1958. The center forward's biggest season was 1955/1956, when he won the Swiss Championship, the Swiss Cup and the top scorer's crown. Vuko scored a total of 120 goals for the GCZ. One of his biggest games was the one against AC Bellinzona , in which he scored all the goals for a 6-0 win. In 1958, at the end of his playing career and at the same time he started his coaching career, the header specialist moved to FC Winterthur , where, after initially playing (and scoring 18 goals), he worked as a coach for two seasons (1958 and 1959) before finishing his Coaching career for three seasons (1960 to 1963) coach of the Grasshoppers. He then returned to his Yugoslav homeland, where he died in 1985 at the age of 57.
