The constituency of Bremen II - Bremerhaven (constituency 55) is a federal constituency in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen . It includes the Bremen districts of Blockland , Blumenthal , Burglesum , Findorff , Gröpelingen , Häfen , Seehausen , Strom , Vegesack , Walle and Woltmershausen as well as the independent city of Bremerhaven. In the last general election, 231,819 residents were entitled to vote. The constituency has existed in this form since 2002, when the number of Bundestag constituencies in Bremen was reduced from three to two. It emerged from the constituency of Bremerhaven - Bremen-Nord , to which parts of the disbanded constituency of Bremen-West were added. The constituency has so far been won by the SPD candidates in all federal elections since 1949 .
