Career

In the 1995 NHL Entry Draft , Christian Dubé was selected in the second round as number 39 by the New York Rangers .

Christian Dubé played four seasons in the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec , where he achieved outstanding scorer values. This earned him a nomination for the Canadian junior national team, with which he, together with Daniel Brière , was Junior World Champion in 1997. In the National Hockey League he was denied the breakthrough. He came to a total of 36 NHL games.

At the age of 21, Christian Dubé moved to the Swiss National League A for HC Lugano . In 2000 and 2001 he lost the final twice with his team against the ZSC Lions . For the 2002/03 season , SC Bern secured the services of the Canadian. The transfer caused a sensation, as it was published in the press relatively early and it became one of the highest-paid ice hockey players in Switzerland. In Bern, Dubé quickly became an absolute leader and was the best scorer on his team for a few seasons. His contract ran until the end of the 2010/11 season, but the option to extend was not drawn, and Dubé agreed with SC Bern to leave the 2010/11 season. In Bern he won four qualifications, was runner-up in 2006/07 and won the championship title in the 2003/04 and 2009/10 seasons.

From 2011 to 2015 he played for Friborg-Gottéron . Since the end of the 2015 season he has been head of sports at Friborg-Gottéron.
