Claude Lombard

Claude Lombard (born February 25, 1945 in Brussels ) is a Belgian singer and participant in the Eurovision Song Contest 1968 .

Claude Lombard studied at INSAS, a university for film and theater studies in Brussels. She also learned the piano and guitar and practiced composing.

In the Belgian preliminary decision for the 13th Eurovision Song Contest, her chanson Quand tu reviendras (English: When you come back ) was selected by a jury from ten suggestions. At the Song Contest in London , her song finally landed in seventh place. In 1973 she returned to the Song Contest - this time as a background singer with Nicole & Hugo , who came last with their song Baby, Baby . Lombard moved to France in the 1970s and began a career as a voice actress. Her singing skills allowed her to appear in the films Beauty and the Beast , The Prince of Egypt and the series The Fraggles . She sang the French-language music for numerous cartoon series.
