Laura Van den Bruel

Laura Van den Bruel (* 1995 in Morkhoven, Belgium ) is a Belgian singer of Flemish origin, best known under her stage names Airis and Iris , and who is under contract with the Belgian record label SonicAngel Praga Khans .

She had her first hit with the song Wonderful as Airis, with which she was in the Belgian charts in Flanders for five weeks . The highest ranking of the song was 28. Van den Bruel lives in Noorderwijk.

Eurovision Song Contest

On November 18, 2011, the Vlaamse Radio en Televisieomroep (VRT) announced that she would be allowed to represent Belgium at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest under the stage name Iris . You entered the first semifinals with the song Would you? who won a viewer vote on the Flemish broadcaster Eén with 53 percent. However, she could not qualify for the final.
