Lisa del Bo , bourgeois: Reinhilde Goossens (born June 9, 1961 in Bilzen ) is a Belgian singer .

Life

Lisa del Bo began her career in the Belgian version of the TV show Soundmixshow by Henny Huisman, which she won in 1990 with her interpretation of the title What's a woman by Vaya Con Dios . She took the stage name Lisa del Bo and released her first single Liefde in 1992 , for which she was supported by John Terra and Hans Van Eyck . Piet Roelen became its producer .

Lisa del Bo had her breakthrough in 1993 with the title Vlinder , with which she was 3rd in the Belgian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . With the title Liefde is een kaartspel , she represented Belgium at the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest and landed at number 16. The single was at number 2 in the Flemish charts, making it the most successful single Lisa del Bos to date.

In addition to the duet Eenzaam zonder jou , which she recorded with Bart Kaëll in 1998 , Lisa del Bo also worked with Helmut Lotti . The duet Love is Life was recorded on his album Helmut Lotti goes Classic Final Edition in 1998, and the duet Swinging on a Star appeared on Lisa del Bo's album Best of the Forties . She later accompanied Helmut Lotti on tours and performed with him several times at his annual summer concert at Casino Knokke.

Lisa del Bo has released three albums in Germany so far, on which she sings new versions of well-known hits from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. She was also seen on German television shows with German versions of some of her titles.
