Fud Leclerc
Fud Leclerc (born: Ferdinand Urbain Dominic Leclerc ; * 1924 in Montluçon , France , † September 20, 2010 ) was a Belgian pop singer . Sometimes his surname is also listed as Leclercq . His artist's first name Fud is formed from the first letters of his first name.
Life
He was the first singer in the history of the contest to receive zero points (1962). He was also the pianist of Juliette Gréco . After his career as a singer , songwriter and pianist, he traveled the world. He then worked as a building contractor and last lived in Brussels .
He represented Belgium four times at the Eurovision Song Contest :
- 1956 : Messieurs les noyés de la Seine (placement unknown)
- 1958 : Ma Petite Chatte (5th place)
- 1960 : Mon Amour pour Toi (6th place)
- 1962 : Ton Nom (last place)
