Axel Hirsoux (born September 26, 1982 in La Hestre , Hainaut province ) is a Belgian pop singer .

Hirsoux took part in the casting shows Star Academy and The Voice Belgique in 2013 , but did not reach the final. In 2014 he won the Belgian qualification for the Eurovision Song Contest with over 50 percent of the votes in televoting . So he represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen with the song Mother in the first semi-final. He couldn't qualify for the final. Hirsoux has been married since 2014.
